Google has rebranded ‘Bard’ as ‘Gemini’. The rebrand is more than just a name change and includes new ways for consumers to interact with Gemini. Consumers can now download the new app on Android and iOS. Gemini solidifies Google’s investment in AI assistants and agents. Sissie Hsiao, a Google VP, referred to ‘Gemini’ as Google’s way of “building a true AI assistant.” The app also offers a subscription, “Google One subscribers who pay for the AI ??subscription will also have access to Gemini’s assistant capabilities in Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet.” Google has plans to add additional features and rollouts. The rollout of the new app is now available in 150 countries.
